The challenges in front of youth and seniors, especially from underprivileged sections of our society like less or no education, poor social skills, poor economic condition, lack of moral support from adult family members (most of the time), etc. restrict the way they can effectively help their families. An independent livelihood earning youth and seniors can play her different roles confidently, help children get an education and do better their lives and bring stability to the family.

Arise Vishwa Society, under its ‘SABAL’ program (Education Training Empowerment), helps different underprivileged sections of our society in learning and earning a livelihood. While interacting with youth and seniors, few possible skill development and livelihood provision ideas came up. Arise Vishwa Society team did a complete analysis of different ideas in terms of feasibility, investment in training, acceptance by the youth and seniors, ease of learning, available opportunities for the skills, market availability, logistics, availability of raw material if required, the capability of Arise Vishwa Society team to collaborate with different stakeholders and market integration, etc., The outcome of the study is a program where youth and seniors will be trained in sewing, stitching, food processing, food making, and beauty parlor, organic farming, etc. skills and successful youth and seniors will get support to get employment or start their small businesses.

A skill development cum livelihood provision intervention can make a difference. Arise Vishwa Society has a plan and looking for generous donors to make it feasible and help the needy.
